RESIDENTIAL
Eye of Africa
Eye of Africa is a residential golf community in Eikenhof, south of Johannesburg and developed by Medallist (Australia).
An appropriate park system, looking after the needs of the residents and that is sensitive to the natural environment, was developed by Landscape Architects Uys & White (Pty) Ltd. The natural Highveld environment inspired the design of the landscape and streetscape theme. This value added landscape enhances community living, whilst also being budget and water consumption conscience.

Zambezi Country Estate
Zambezi Country Estate is situated in the most northern valley of Pretoria in close proximity to the N1. The site is fairly flat with numerous drainage channels running through it. The wide floodlines of the drainage channel have dictated the form of the open spaces and an opportunity was seen to create engineered wetlands on the saturated clay soils.A complex system of weirs and flood attenuation ponds has been designed to contain the storm water runoff in off-stream ponds which are covered with riverine associated vegetation, giving rise to habitats for amphibians and birds. A system of walkways and bird-hides has been superimposed in order for people to be in close contact with this newly formed wetland system.
